The Paediatric Whole Body Phantom is modeled after a 5-year-old child of 43″ (105cm) tall. This phantom is a life-size, full body anthropomorphic phantom with a state-of-the-art synthetic skeleton, lungs, liver, mediastinum and kidneys embedded in KYOTOKAGAKU original soft tissue substitute. The life-like articulation on movable joints allows for various positioning, which provides valuable opportunities for hands-on training and experience e.g. plain x-ray photography and basic CT scanning and basic patient positioning for x-ray and CT. These training applications can be enriched by disassembling the phantom into 10 individual parts.
